Episode 10: My Dinosaur Hypothesis Based On The Bible

Hey guys! Today we'll be talking about the Tolu619-Rex and a lot of sauruses. I don't believe in the evolution theory. I believe dinosaurs existed. How do I merge the two? The Bible of course! I'm hoping this will be an interesting article to all my readers, atheist, christian, or anything in between. Besides, when I asked on a VGchartz.com forum for suggestions on improving my blog, someone said "Not a big fan of the font. It's a little tough on my old man eyes. You gotta spice up your writing style, too. Add some raz-a-mataz! Some zing! Some skatch-a-mazoo!! I'm....having a stroke" so I'm trying to post more controversial and interesting stuff.
Summary: I believe there was a world on earth before the time of Adam and Eve. Dinosaurs lived then. When Lucifer fell, the earth was destroyed but not totally obliterated. After sometime, we have no idea how long, God recreated, or fixed, earth and created the current set of creatures, including man. From the time of Adam and Eve till now is just over 6 millennia but the earth is actually older than 6,000 years. Now that I have your attention, I give my arguments for this hypothesis from both the Bible and Science.

Unless otherwise stated, all Bible quotations are from the King James Version. Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth". The next verse from Young's Literal Translation(which translates the original Hebrew text without paraphrasing it to make it more readable) reads "the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness [is] on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters". In modern English, that would be "And the earth became empty and desolate.....". How could the Spirit of God flutter over the surface of the waters if nothing existed prior to the creation(apparently, recreation) described in the rest of the chapter?
Jump to verse 28 and we get "....God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth...". Replenish means to refill, restock or resupply. God wouldn't have asked man to replenish the earth if there wasn't something there before. The Hebrew word BARA was used in verse 1, meaning "to create from nothing" while the Hebrew word in verse 2, ASAH, means "to create out of existent materials".

Jeremiah 4:23-27 - Jeremiah describes this earth of Gen 1:2, the without form and void one. What he describes didn't happen between Adam and now, so it must have happened either before Adam will happen after our current time but the Bible clearly tells us in Revelations the things that will happen, and a void earth isn't one of them.
"23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end."

2 Peter 3:5-7 - Peter also describes it.
"5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

Lucemon. One of the most powerful Digimon ever. Digimon is still one of my favorite animes though I started watching it at the age of 11!

If I have deduced correctly from these scriptures that there was a Pre-Adamite world, then it was probably destroyed at the time spoken of in Isiah 14:12 - 17 which describes the fall of Lucifer and how he dragged all of earth along with a third of the angels down with him. Ezekiel 28:11-19 describes the time when Lucifer was still on top, and how he had been in Eden(seems to refer to a Pre-Adamite Eden, I'm not sure) and how he moved freely wherever he wanted to. One might argue that the verses I quoted from Ezekiel refer to a man, but that is the same as arguing that Jesus was talking directly to Peter when he said "Get thee behind me Satan".
The new testament was mainly written in Greek and the Greek word translated as 'world' from 2 Peter 3 quoted above is KOSMOS which means “orderly arrangement” and by implication “the world, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively.” In other words, KOSMOS can, and frequently does, mean “people” or “social system.” This definition is corroborated by at least sixty different scriptures using the word KOSMOS in such a way that it can only mean “people”. This makes me wonder whether the Pre-Adamite world had intelligent life on earth. I mean more intelligent than animals, more or less on human level but that's an argument for a different day and one that we have too little evidence to even bother with. I'll ask God about that in heaven.
There's this other theory also based on the Bible that I don't embrace but I think deserves a mention. Creationist scientists(scientists that believe that God created the universe) sometimes argue that Dinosaurs existed up till the time of Noah but those that came out of the ark became extinct because they couldn't survive in the post flood world with no food or shelter. This suggests that there was a time when men and dinos lived together. They mention the book of Job(probably the oldest book in the Bible) where God mentioned Behemoth and Leviathan as if they were animals Job had seen. Job 40:15 to 41:34.  If not for the tail, the description of Behemoth fits that of an elephant or hippo.
If not for the fire breathing part, the Leviathan's description sounds just like that of a crocodile. The Bible also mentions dragons and unicorns(I think it was referring to Rhinos. The original meaning of unicorn mentions a one-horned animal with no mention of a horse) so they argue that these animals must have gone extinct after the flood of Noah. Men and Dinosaurs once lived together. Personally, I disagree with this thesis and stand by my Pre-Adamite world thesis. Here's an article on why we never find dinosaur and human fossils together.
If Dinos and men co-existed at some point...........

Why is the existence of Dinosaurs so fascinating to us anyway? "The term dinosaur was a title coined by scientists to describe fossilized remains of certain prehistoric, extinct animals. For example, we generally don't use that term to describe the fossilized remains of extinct monkeys or insects, etc. Nor is the word used to describe more recently extinct animals like the dodo bird or carrier pigeon. Why? What’s so special about a dinosaur fossil? In reality the title of dinosaur is granted somewhat arbitrarily (and rather sensationally) to describe only certain extinct animals found in the fossil record. There is truly nothing special about a dinosaur when compared to other extinct fossilized animals. Many other animals have become extinct over the course of the earth’s history, yet the overwhelming majority don't receive any special attention nor is the fact they once existed considered a threat to our confidence in the Bible. So, why do we give so much attention and interest to just one small group of extinct animals called dinosaurs? The answer is that Hollywood and modern science has biased us to think differently about this small group of animals because of the way these institutions have sensationalized them in pictures and movies. Stop for a moment and ask yourself why you believe dinosaurs are so threatening to humans. Is it because of their size or fierce teeth? Did you know that although a few dinosaurs were very large, the vast majority of dinosaurs weren't large at all. In fact, the average size of all dinosaurs was about the size of a chicken. Furthermore, humans have always lived in the company of large, potentially dangerous creatures." - versebyverseministry.org staff. Here's the original article.
